I started in EDC over 10 years ago before it was really called EDC. I was in to patches mostly and I collected just what I really liked, well fast forward a few years and EDC became a huge community that has taken over and even been featured in big named publications. I began APE-X as an avenue to try and cast my own SFK’s out of metal. That didn’t last long and I realized I need to make a model for a proto-type but I had no CAD skills nor did I have a 3D printer. I decided to take the dive and before I knew it I was making custom displays for people in the community and taking on custom design projects. I have now been doing this for just over two years and loving every minute of it, and I am trying to learn new things every day! Recently I have added knife making to my list of things to learn so I am hopeful that I will be producing some cool blades soon!
